About Us
DMS KNOWLE Is celebrating 40 Years of Music Education.
Dorridge Music School was established in 1985 and based in Dorridge village for 25 years.
DMS relocated to Knowle 15 years ago and this year 2025 sees the
award winning music academy celebrate '40 Years of Music Education'
Husband and wife team Peter Angelides and Leigh Perry
have both worked in the music business their whole lives both performing and
teaching and their hard work and dedication has brought about the success story that is DMS.
Our Standards
DMS is an examination centre for the LCM also offering ABRSM exams and is proud of its high achievement.
With lessons available 7 days a week for the whole family. Daytime and evenings with both group and individual tuition it's the perfect choice for your music education.
Our Show
Leigh also produces a concert every 18 months 'a fusion of music and dance' giving DMS students the amazing opportunity to perform live at symphony hall.
The concert sees around 300 performers both staff and students from DMS with local dance schools, choirs and celebrity guests.

We are based in Greville Court at the rear of Knowle High Street. Parking is available in the adjacent car park which offers 2 hours free parking.
